JMU Contest Letter

JMU Competition Schedule

Parents,

 Attached to this is the Parent letter ( that your child should receive tomorrow at the end of rehearsal) and the complete JMU Parade of Champions schedule.  

Tickets for adults are $ 15.00, and $ 10.00 for students (I left the student price off the letter).

Please make sure that your child eats lunch prior to coming to SHS on Saturday!  

We will not be eating dinner until after we perform, which will make it around 7:30 p.m.  We will be giving them a snack around 4:30 to tide them over.

 This is a great contest to come to.  The facility is awesome, and it is one of the premier band contests in the country.  

Due to the lateness of the awards ceremony, we will NOT be mingling either immediately after our performance, or the awards ceremony.  

However, if you'd like to talk to your child, we will be returning to the stadium between 8:30 and 8:45 and you are welcome to come and join us and talk to your child. Please keep in mind that other bands will be competing, so we will need to be respectful for them.

 Hope to see a large group of Salem folks there on Saturday night!
